1953 Bowman Black & White
In addition to their regular 1953 baseball card set, Bowman also (for some reason) produced an identical version with fewer cards that featured black-and-white photos.The set numbered only 64 cards, each measuring 2-1/2"x3-3/4".
Card backs were identical to the same players' cards from the color set, only with the reduced numbering scheme.
Prominent players in this set included Johnny Mize, Preacher Roe, and Casey Stengel.
