1985 Fleer Baseball Cards

Fleer's 1985 baseball card set consisted of 660 cards, each measuring 2-1/2"x3-1/2".

Card fronts had the player's photo surrounded by a color border; the team logo appeared inline at the upper left, with the player's name and position in white ink along the top of the border. This was surrounded by a thicker gray border around the card edge.

Card backs were in red and black ink, otherwise similar to previous years'. Within the top section were the card number, the player's name, team, and position, and a small black and white photo of the player. Below this were his career statistics, then basic biographical info at the bottom.

This set included ten Major League Prospect cards, which showed two rookie players on each.

Team logo stickers were inserted into each pack.

Prominent players in this set include Tony Gwynn, Ryne Sandberg, Ozzie Smith, Mike Schmidt, Kirby Puckett, Reggie Jackson, Eric Davis (rookie), Pete Rose, and Cal Ripken Jr.
