Manglors
Manglors were a line of action figures produced by Ideal starting in about 1983. They were characterized by their being made of a pliable, rubber-like material that allowed the figures to be taken apart and put back together any way the user wished.
Kids could (for example) rip an arm or leg off their Manglor and stick it back in a different spot, or even stick it onto a different Manglor figure completely, much as one can break off a piece of clay or Play-Doh and stick it back in another configuration.
Manglors were produced in different colors, and as different fantasy creatures: there was, for example, the Manglord (monstrous-looking humanoid), Manglodemon (humanoid with a demonic head), dinosaur-types like the Manglosauraus and Manglodactyl, and a Manglodragon - the last of these came in a plastic egg within the packaging.
A bare-bones storyline accompanied the various pieces of the line. Manglord was the "leader of a man-like race of tribal hunters, a ferocious warrior chieftain who has mastered the art of survival against all odds." Manglodemon was "born of the fires at the center of the universe." The various Manglor characters apparently adapted their fantastic abilities to survive the harsh environment of their home world.
In addition, there was a Manglor Mountain Volcanic Fortress playset.
There was also a foreign version of the toyline called Vulcalors.
Due to lack of interest or perhaps the amount of competition, the Manglor line lasted only a short time before being discontinued.
